POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Technician will meet with customers for pre-scheduled appointments to maintain and/or upgrade systems, follow up on warranty issues, and recommend additional needed solutions to the customer.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service and Sales
- Examines work done by our company and determines if there is a potential problem to be remedied.
- Recommends additional products and services to enhance or improve the original installation or remedy a new issue that has arisen in the customer’s home.
- Follows through with customers until all issues are resolved.
- Timely completes all paperwork/data entry and follow-up communication required for the appointment.
- Meets or exceeds their projected monthly Average Dollar Per Stop.
Quality Assurance
- When installing a product for a customer, follows all job specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Reports any product or installations issues to the General Manager.
Training & Development
- Attends the weekly service meeting and other required meetings.
- Participates in ride-alongs from the Sales Manager and peers.
- Practices the appointment process and follows it every time.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred and 1+ years of experience in the construction trades, sales, customer service OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
- A valid driver’s license (and/or CDL), safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company.
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS FOR LIFTING, CARRYING, PUSHING, PULLING:
- Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on computer/tablet screen, communicate with others on the phone or in person, move about/traverse, accurately operate a computer/calculator approximately 75-100% of the time.
- Ability to lift or move up to 100 lb. occasionally, and/or up to 50 lb. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lb. of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to stay upright/stand up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces. Ability to work occasional emergency hours.
