POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Production Manager supervises production teams and production jobs to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency, all while meeting team goals and providing remarkable customer experiences.

The compensation for this position is $80,000 base salary with $28,000+ incentive.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Training/Development
- Creates, leads, and manages production training.
- Inspects job sites, equipment, tools, and production crews.
- Assists the Production Manager with performance management for production crews.
- Assists with group and individual production meetings.
- Provides other departments with production training as needed.
- Along with the Production Manager, formulates and implements strategies with the goals of having each crew meets their key performance indicators.
Safety, Quality, Efficiency
- Stays up to date on production best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Daily review and approval of timecards.
- Assists with group and individual safety meetings on a monthly basis.
- Makes and communicates adjustments to best practices when needed.
- Ensures all aspects of installations are performed safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
Remarkable Experience
- Ensures the production team provides a remarkable experience to customers.
- Communicates with customers in a timely manner to overcome obstacles/problems on jobs and reach an acceptable solution.
- As necessary, escalates customer issues to the team to find a timely solution.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
- Ability and skill in operating equipment and/or power tools preferred.
- Ability to operate a phone/app/tablet.
- Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a screen up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English; ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred and 1+ years of experience in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
- A valid driver’s license (and/or CDL), safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company.
