POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Manager manages the production department and its employees, ensuring the work is done on time and on budget with safety, quality, and efficiency, all while meeting team goals and providing remarkable customer experiences.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, Manage, Accountability (LMA)
- Cascades the company’s vision and provides clear direction.
- Removes barriers so that the company’s vision is achievable.
- Recruits, selects, onboards, and trains new employees.
- Leads group and individual meetings/trainings on a weekly basis.
- Provides expectations and holds employees accountable to meeting these expectations.
- Manages employees’ performance, conducts performance reviews, and partners with HR on other performance decisions.
- Creates/provides opportunities for employees’ growth and development.
Production Goals
- Meets and exceeds production goals and other key performance indicators for the company and individual production team members.
- Targets performance management and training to achieve production goals and other key performance indicators.
Customer Issues
- When customer issues are escalated to their level, works to resolve all issues with customers.
- Ensures customers have a remarkable experience.
Safety, Quality, Efficiency
- Approves sales on a daily basis.
- Ensures all aspects of installations are performed safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
- Regular visits job sites to inspect, recognize and/or redirect team behaviors, train the team, find improvements, and gain efficiencies.
- Ensures company vehicles, trailers, equipment, tools, and other assets are cared for and are in good working order.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction or business preferred and 2+ years of experience as a foreman/manager in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
- A valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
- Knowledge of construction principles and construction management.
- Skill in verbal (including presentation skills) and written communication.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to understand and converse in Spanish is a plus.
